Introduction

This is my first time creating a blog.  The main reason for my inspiration to do this is my love for writing.  Writing has always given me a way to release and express myself.  I began writing poetry last year and found that the solace in it for me was inexpressible in any other form.  It gave me a window to my innermost core, and I want to be able to share that power with others.

I am hoping that through my words, I will be able to inspire other people to find and pursue their true solace of expression.  Words and the paths that they create can give us great insight into the creative side of humanity.  Depending on the way that ideas, sentiments, and reflections are strung together and expressed, there can be a great source of creativity.  It can also be an outlet for anyone who finds writing to be an avenue for them.  A strong desire of mine is to be able to encourage other writers to pursue writing in whatever forum helps you come alive and express how you truly feel.  

Another desire of mine is to be able to help others through the words on my pages.  Some of my work is meant to inspire hope for positive change or provide reflections.  Some of it is darker and more reflective of difficult experiences.   In these writings, I hope to create the ability for others to find identification and hope for different instances in life that inspired some of these writings.
